Description
The Value Engineering Project Engineer III leads cross-functional initiatives focused on cost reduction, product optimization, and continuous improvement while maintaining performance, durability, and user value. The role manages low- to moderately complex value engineering projects from concept through implementation, conducts product teardowns and benchmarking, develops cost models, leads technical tradeoffs, coordinates supplier and qualification testing activities, and supports global manufacturing and production initiatives. The position requires a bachelor of science in engineering, at least four years of relevant engineering experience, experience with product development or value engineering projects, and familiarity with CAD, simulation, DFMA, cost modeling, root cause analysis, teardown benchmarking, and global suppliers.
