AFRY is hiring a Project Engineer in Permitting Management for Environmental Protection / Immission Control under BImSchG in Cologne or Essen. The role supports clients and authorities through environmental permitting procedures, manages permit applications under BImSchG and the Water Resources Act, coordinates technical experts and project stakeholders, monitors deadlines and processes, and contributes to environmental due diligence, assessments, and sustainable project solutions. A relevant degree and initial professional experience in project work and environmental-law permitting are advantageous, while strong German and English skills, legal knowledge, communication, and analytical abilities are required.
