BKF is hiring a Project Engineer for its Government Services team in Vallejo to review civil engineering plans, grading and drainage designs, stormwater and hydrology reports, and other public and private development documents for compliance with agency standards, codes, ordinances, and permitting requirements. The role also coordinates transportation and traffic projects, prepares geometric designs and cost estimates, develops multimodal and sustainable design elements, and supports policy and staff training. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in public works or a related setting. The position requires 10–30% travel, offers a base salary of $105,000–$128,000 annually, and is marked hybrid.
