Description

Boeing is looking for a Mid-Level Project Engineer-Program Integration Manager to join their 787 Airplane Integration Office in North Charleston, South Carolina. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting 787 airplane operations, leading special projects focused on safety, certification, and performance, and contributing to the resolution of complex issues impacting development, production, and fleet support.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years’ experience performing complex engineering or system integration work
3+ years’ experience in leading and/or managing complex projects
3+ years’ of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners
Preferred Qualifications: ABET accredited bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
5+ years’ of experience with Transport, Boeing 7-Series and/or McDonnell Douglas Aircraft
2+ years’ of experience with US and/or foreign aircraft certification/regulatory processes
Certification and/or experience working with FAA regulations and Regulatory Administration
Project Management exposure / experience (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008)
Ability to quickly analyze, understand, organize and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines
Experience with leading major design changes through multiple phases of product and certification lifecycle
Ability to work out of comfort zone, where process definition does not exist or is unclear. Take ownership/initiative, pull teams together, establish battle rhythm and remove roadblocks
