SEL Engineering Services is hiring a Proposal Manager to lead technical scope and proposal development from initiation through submission. The role serves as a liaison between sales, engineering, project support, customers, and subcontractors; estimates engineering services and costs; develops schedules and risk assessments; reviews contracts and purchase orders; coordinates bid reviews and project handoffs; and maintains customer relationships. Candidates need a relevant engineering or technical degree, substantial relevant experience, or PMP certification with the stated experience requirement, along with knowledge of power systems, protection, automation, and communications. The position is open to Fairview Heights, Illinois; Houston, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Plymouth, Michigan, with domestic and international travel of at least 25% based on focus area.
