Description
The Protection Engineer leads customer training and the design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and protection systems; assigns and implements work within scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements; supports proposals; mentors staff; and may supervise. The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline, at least five years of relevant application experience, knowledge of power-system protection, control, automation, communications, design, studies, and protective relays, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%.
