O-I is hiring a Project Engineer to support the implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of North America Assurance of Quality requirements across its manufacturing operations. The role combines structured training with hands-on laboratory, quality-systems, manufacturing, auditing, customer-support, and technical-problem-solving work, including plant rotations, audits, corrective-action verification, container testing, data analysis, and project reporting. The engineer will progress toward independent project leadership and may serve as Lab Lead when assigned. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering is required, along with strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and leadership capabilities. The position requires full-time authorization to work in the United States and approximately 50% travel, including Canada.
