Description
AEP is hiring Project Engineers to serve as engineering leads for complex, multi-disciplinary utility-scale generation projects, including gas turbine, solar, wind, battery storage, and retrofit initiatives. The role leads engineering design, procurement, construction support, commissioning, project closeout, and coordination with internal teams, developers, architects, OEMs, EPC contractors, and regulators. The position is onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma or Columbus, Ohio, requires 4+ years of related engineering experience plus an ABET-accredited engineering degree for the Senior grade or 8+ years plus a bachelor's degree for the Principal grade, and offers $110,000–$151,000 annually.
