LaBella Associates is hiring a Project Engineer / Solid Waste Engineer in its Charlotte, North Carolina office to design solid-waste facilities and related civil, environmental, stormwater, leachate, renewable-energy, and organic-waste projects. The role covers master planning, design drawings, permitting reports, preliminary and detailed engineering, project proposals, construction administration, budget and schedule management, and collaboration with clients, regulators, contractors, and project teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, 5–10 years of experience, at least four years of civil engineering experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D; solid-waste and land-development experience are preferred.
