Description
Eversource is hiring one Electrical Distribution Designer to plan, coordinate, and monitor complex overhead and underground electric distribution projects from concept through detailed design, permitting, construction readiness, and project execution. The role involves technical design, stakeholder coordination, field assessments, budget and schedule tracking, permitting, and liaison work with internal teams, contractors, customers, and regulatory authorities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a comparable field plus five years of related experience, or eight years of combined education and experience; an electrical license is preferred. The position requires office, customer-site, construction-site, and field work, travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, emergency restoration availability, and a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. The starting salary is $59.61 per hour, with progression under the union contract.
