Description
The Strategic Project Engineering Manager will lead complex automation projects for the meat processing industry, developing preliminary designs, specifications, cost estimates, feasibility and economic studies, and as-built documentation. The role coordinates vendors, contractors, plant personnel, consultants, and project schedules; manages budgets and contract administration; reviews engineering deliverables; and monitors installations to ensure specifications and budgets are met. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, leadership experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, engineering economics, project scheduling, and food-processing industry standards.
