Description

Canadian Natural is hiring a Project Engineering Student for a 12-month Oil Sands Projects work term in Calgary, Alberta. The student will support engineering cost estimating and project controls for oil and gas facilities by using Excel, Power BI, and WinEst; performing quantity take-offs, cost analysis, benchmarking, and labor, material, and equipment cost evaluation; developing estimating reports, databases, and analytical tools; and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role begins in January 2027, follows a Monday–Friday schedule, and requires enrollment in a bachelor's engineering program and a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent.
