Description
The Project Preconstruction Manager leads a group of projects or market sector, overseeing business development, client satisfaction, project execution, warranties, budgets, schedules, cost control, procurement, subcontractor coordination, change orders, claims, permits, and project closeout. The role supervises project management staff, coordinates with project managers and superintendents, and assumes primary responsibility for project quality, schedule, and profitability. It requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, building construction, or business management, 15 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination; registration as an architect or engineer is not required but adds value. The role also requires training and prior production experience with Primavera P3, Expedition, CMAS, Microsoft Foxpro, and Microsoft Word.
