Clifford Chance is hiring a junior-to-mid-level lawyer in Tokyo to support cross-border project-development and finance transactions. The role involves due diligence on greenfield and brownfield projects, drafting and negotiating project and finance documentation, client contact, cross-office collaboration, and business-development support. Candidates should have 0–6 years of post-qualification experience, prior experience in project development, project finance, or general finance, strong technical legal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Japanese language skills are a bonus but not required.
