Description

The Staff Assistant (Data Manager) supports the Staff Officer (Geospatial Information and System Manager) in managing geospatial data and products for NATO Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Naples. Responsibilities include maintaining the Core GIS Database, developing and disseminating operational electronic geospatial catalogues, managing geospatial interfaces and data synchronization, preparing and assuring geospatial information, creating SOIs, and supporting NATO command, control, and information systems. The role requires higher secondary or secondary education with relevant vocational training, at least five years of related professional experience including three years as a geospatial data manager in a military organization, advanced knowledge of SQL Server, Python, enterprise GIS, REST APIs, web maps, and ETL technologies, and a NATO Secret clearance. It is a three-year definite-duration contract with a basic monthly salary of Euro 4,150.63 in Italy.
