Description

Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time Type Version Integrator - Ship Captain - Level 5 in Marietta, Georgia, to lead production readiness and cross-functional integration of new aircraft configurations and engineering changes from design release through first-article and recurring production. The role coordinates with Engineering, Program Management, Planning, Tooling, Supply Chain, Quality, Functional Test, and Production; identifies manufacturing risks; manages schedules and project issues; and supports aircraft build operations. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, aircraft manufacturing or production operations experience, cross-functional leadership experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position offers a full-time salary range of $129,000 to $239,600, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and flexible work arrangements.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience
Required Previous Experiences: Experience supporting aircraft manufacturing, production operations, program management, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, planning, or production control
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a manufacturing environment
Experience interpreting engineering releases, manufacturing plans, schedules, and technical documentation
Experience supporting first-article production, production readiness, or new product introduction
Experience with program office operations, master and production scheduling, engineering design release processes, tooling, manufacturing planning, and production control
Experience identifying manufacturing risks and developing mitigation strategies
