Description

Nova Systems is hiring Project Management Consultants in Canberra to manage small- to medium-sized Defence acquisition and sustainment projects across the capability lifecycle. The role involves coordinating project delivery, leading resources and subcontractors, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, commercial activities and stakeholder relationships, while applying project management frameworks and software such as Oracle PPM. Applicants need relevant qualifications or experience, Defence project experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, Australian citizenship, and an active or suspended AGSVA NV1 security clearance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Qualification in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or relevant demonstrated experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience working on Defence acquisition or sustainment projects across the capability lifecycle.
Experience managing multiple small or minor projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications: Australian citizenship and active or suspended AGSVA NV1 security clearance.
Experience with Oracle PPM or equivalent project management software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
