Description
The Mechanical Project Manager will manage the full lifecycle of non-standard mechanical and automation production-line projects, from project initiation and design through procurement, assembly, commissioning, site acceptance, and delivery. The role is responsible for project planning and budgets, progress, cost, and quality control; coordinating internal R&D, production, procurement, and outsourcing resources; managing customer requirements and changes; identifying risks; closing issues; and archiving project documentation. The position requires a mechanical, electromechanical, or automation background, at least two years of mechanical project-management experience, equipment-delivery experience, mechanical-drawing and machining and assembly-commissioning knowledge, communication and coordination skills, and willingness to travel for projects.
