Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is hiring a Civil Engineering Project Manager for its Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility. The role supervises Project Management section staff, plans and prioritizes work, assigns tasks, provides technical direction, and manages design through construction phases of capital improvement projects, including construction negotiations and claims. The position is based at 3000 Arctic Boulevard, Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, five years of progressively responsible engineering experience, an Alaska driver’s license, and Alaska professional engineer registration. A master’s degree may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
