AECOM is hiring a Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects from its Providence, Rhode Island office on a hybrid basis, averaging three days per week in the office. The role manages technical and professional staff, leads environmental project teams, interprets data and regulatory requirements, tracks budgets and cash flow, prepares work plans and studies, and supervises junior and mid-level staff. Applicants need a BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related field plus at least four years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and the ability to pass a background check; sponsorship is unavailable. Preferred qualifications include professional licensure, extensive environmental remediation project management experience, a master’s degree, regulator and stakeholder negotiation experience, and knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA.
