Description

CACI is seeking a Project Manager to lead and enhance project management practices for advanced innovation and engineering projects supporting national security missions. The role involves overseeing R&D projects across various technical fields, guiding cross-functional teams, and refining project management processes using modern methodologies.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 3-5 years of relevant project planning/management experience
3+ years of demonstrated Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) experience
Experience managing technical or engineering projects
Experience managing projects in a government contracting environment and understanding of government requirements management
Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to introduce and adapt these practices
Experience with project management tools such as GitLab, Microsoft Planner, or MS Project
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven stakeholder management experience
Ability to work effectively with highly technical and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM certification
Engineering or technical degree
Experience contributing to resource planning and ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates
Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes or federal compliance frameworks
Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple facilities
Change management or organizational transformation experience
