Description
The Project Manager oversees the operational completion of jobs and projects from the point of award through delivery. Responsibilities include scheduling projects, coordinating labor, technicians, materials, permits, and suppliers; interpreting plans and contracts; negotiating changes; supervising technicians; monitoring compliance with building and safety codes; preparing cost and progress reports; implementing quality control; and resolving delays, emergencies, and installation problems. The role requires knowledge of construction systems, mathematics, design, safety, management, customer service, mechanical systems, and accounting, along with professional communication, resource coordination, and schedule management.
