Description
The role plans and schedules construction projects, coordinates subcontractors and trade contractors, reviews architectural and engineering drawings, administers construction contracts, obtains permits and licenses, supervises assistant managers, monitors schedules and costs, and reports progress to owners and architects. It requires a four-year degree in construction management or construction science, five or more years of experience assisting or supervising increasingly complex construction projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
