Description
Valard Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Substation group in Calgary, Alberta to lead full lifecycle delivery of substation and interconnection projects, owning safety, schedule, cost, quality, client relationships, and closeout. The role requires at least 5 years of progressive project management experience in utility construction with substations at 115 kV and above, experience managing large projects from $10M to $100M+, and willingness to travel at least 50% across Canada. Preferred qualifications include PMP and P.Eng. designations and experience with AIS/GIS substations, transformer installations, protection and control, and high-voltage commissioning.
