Description

Ventus Executive Solutions is hiring an experienced Project Manager to support the Rapid Acquisition Procurable Torpedo (RAPTOR) program as it transitions into production. The role works with program leadership and stakeholders to translate commander’s intent into actionable plans, leads multidisciplinary teams, and manages complex technical programs from planning through execution. The position is onsite in Washington, DC, requires a TS/SCI clearance, and offers a base salary of $125,000 to $175,000 plus healthcare, ESOP, retirement, and paid time off benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant project or program management experience supporting complex technical programs
Experience leading and directing multidisciplinary teams to accomplish program objectives
Experience translating leadership direction and commander’s intent into actionable plans and driving them through execution
Experience identifying issues, developing solutions, and proactively driving complex efforts forward
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in engineering, science, technology, business, program management, or a related field
Experience supporting U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, or other defense acquisition programs
Familiarity with the Department of Defense acquisition process and transitioning programs or capabilities into production
Experience supporting undersea weapons, torpedoes, submarine systems, or undersea warfare programs
Previous experience supporting NAVSEA, a Navy Program Executive Office, or a Navy program office
Prior U.S. Navy submarine experience, including submarine officers and nuclear-trained personnel
Experience coordinating across engineering, acquisition, contracting, testing, production, logistics, and other functional areas
