Smurfit Westrock is hiring a Project Manager – Electrical Engineering / Automation Engineering to independently manage new-build, conversion, and modernization projects. The role covers technical planning and implementation across measuring, control and regulation, PLC systems, drive technology, and fieldbus systems; project leadership through commissioning; budget and resource management; and coordination with customers, external partners, and internal specialist departments. Candidates need electrical engineering or related training, several years of project experience, knowledge of PLC and automation systems, and strong German and English skills.
