The Fabrication Project Manager plans, executes, and closes application equipment projects for Messer’s food equipment product line, including new builds and refurbishment of used equipment. The role manages budgets and schedules for projects up to $1,000,000, coordinates procurement and fabrication, oversees safety and functional testing, resolves customer and fabrication-site problems, and completes project close-out documentation. It requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, at least three years of relevant engineering or design experience, and the ability to perform fluid flow calculations and read electrical schematics.
