Description
The Project Manager for Equipment Engineering will provide technical support and coordinate planning, contracting, construction, commissioning, and project execution for rail equipment trades such as signaling, interlocking, 50 Hz systems, telecommunications, and electronic interlocking. The role manages specifications, bills of quantities, tender and award documents, approval and financing applications, contractual obligations, and project progress reporting, while coordinating with authorities, engineering offices, construction supervision, and testing professionals. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree or comparable qualification, several years of project or infrastructure project experience, knowledge of German construction and contract law, strong communication skills, and a class B driver’s license.
