Description
Harris County is hiring a full-time Project Manager to manage multiple capital improvement projects across roads, drainage, bridges, parks, facilities, trails, and bicycle paths. The role delivers projects from pre-planning through close-out, negotiates scopes, schedules, costs, and consultant procurement, manages project budgets and controls, coordinates with clients, contractors, consultants, agencies, and the public, resolves construction issues, and may supervise Assistant Project Managers and Graduate Engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Science, or Construction Management, at least four years of roadway civil engineering design and construction experience, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, a Texas driver's license, and the ability to work in field conditions.
