BKF is hiring a Project Manager – Housing Element Services to lead delivery and business development for Housing Element update and implementation projects. The role manages project scope, schedule, budget, subconsultants, HCD review cycles, and multidisciplinary teams; pursues new opportunities; develops proposals; leads public engagement; and serves as a client contact. It requires 5–7 years of community planning experience, at least one 6th-cycle Housing Element project, knowledge of RHNA, site inventory, rezoning, and AFFH, a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public policy, or a related field, and willingness to travel. The position is remote/hybrid, with Bay Area or LA metro candidates preferred, and offers an annualized base salary of $139,744.8–$170,799.2.
