Description
The Construction Project Manager leads projects from preconstruction through construction, overseeing profitability, safety, schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, personnel, billing, cash flow, procurement, contracts, change orders, claims, and project closeout. The role requires experience in preconstruction and construction project management, a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent training and experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and knowledge of contracts, scheduling, productivity, construction operations, and cash flow. It includes two experience-based steps: Step I for projects of $20 million or less with 3–5 years of experience, and Step II for $20–$50 million projects with 5–10 years of experience.
