Description
The role manages complex shipboard systems, operations, and maritime programs, leading project managers and coordinating interdependent projects across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, resources, communications, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include setting program strategy, controlling budgets and deadlines, evaluating staff and vendors, resolving higher-level scope issues, preparing reports, supporting business development, and contributing to continuous improvement. The position requires extensive shipboard systems and maritime experience, at least 10 years of project management experience, stakeholder experience in a projectized matrix environment, PMP/CAPM or equivalent certification, a Top Secret security clearance, and strong communication and technical-writing skills. Compensation is $118,600 to $177,800, with benefits including health and wellness, retirement savings, paid leave, and tuition reimbursement.
