Description

Entwicklungsgesellschaft indeland GmbH is hiring a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Project Development to initiate and manage regional structural-development projects in the Inden open-cast mine area. The role covers needs analysis, project planning, mobility and cycling concepts, funding applications, stakeholder coordination, tender preparation, and monitoring of regional developments. It is a full-time position limited to October 1, 2026 through January 31, 2030, with compensation up to pay grade EG 12 under the TVöD Municipal collective agreement, flexible working options including remote work, and a workplace in Düren.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Completed master’s degree or equivalent qualification in urban and regional planning, geography, mobility management, transport planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: Initial professional experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to initiate and structure projects, coordinate processes, and manage schedules, costs, resources, and quality.
Familiarity with processes, documentation, and decision- and resolution-submission preparation.
Understanding of coordination, administrative, and grant-funding processes.
Clear communication with administration, politics, and the public; independent work; teamwork; and willingness to attend regional appointments.
