NYSERDA is hiring a Project Manager, Project Manager II, or Senior Project Manager for its Power Grid Innovation R&D team. The role plans, develops, and manages interventions and strategies that overcome market barriers, attract private capital, and accelerate the adoption of grid-enhancing technologies across transmission, distribution, storage, and other innovations. Responsibilities include market analysis, stakeholder engagement, implementation oversight, consultant and contractor management, budgeting, reporting, and public-facing presentations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant electricity-sector experience depending on the level, with travel of 10–20% across New York State.
