Description
The Substation Project Manager plans, executes, and closes electrical substation projects from engineering coordination and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, and energization. The role manages schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, subcontractors, safety compliance, client and utility relationships, and project closeout documentation. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field, at least five years of substation or transmission and distribution project management experience, and willingness to travel 25–50% or more to project sites.
