Description
The Project Manager will manage multiple capital improvement projects in Harris County’s Vertical Portfolio, overseeing design and construction from pre-planning through close-out. The role coordinates consultants, contractors, agencies, and stakeholders; manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, change orders, and project controls; leads assigned staff; and supports emergency response and continuity of operations. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a similar field, at least four years of vertical project management experience, commercial construction experience, relevant licensure, and familiarity with Texas and federal review processes. The position is full-time, subject to field work and emergency deployment, and offers medical, vision, and dental insurance plus other benefits.
