Description
The Project-Based Launch Process Engineer will support process launches in automotive crankshaft machining environments, focusing on CNC, grinders, and spindle systems. Responsibilities include leading machine run-offs, executing run-rate and validation builds, installing and debugging rotating machine tools, developing machining processes, optimizing feeds and speeds, troubleshooting quality and performance issues, improving OEE and process capability, and supporting PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP. The role requires crankshaft manufacturing and rotating equipment experience, process validation and capability knowledge, APQP and PPAP familiarity, GD&T and print-reading ability, troubleshooting skills, an engineering degree or equivalent, and 3–5+ years of manufacturing and machining experience.
