The Purchasing Manager coordinates communication between the business unit, division, manufacturing sites, and the central purchasing department; procures materials for series production, develops alternative suppliers, tracks cost, quality, timing, and savings targets, leads technical supplier discussions, drives cost-reduction initiatives, prepares suppliers for pre-series production, monitors technical changes, and aligns business-unit and purchasing strategies. The role requires an engineering or business/economics degree, English negotiation skills, MS Office proficiency, willingness to travel, a Category B driving license, strong communication, and reliability; SAP knowledge and quality assurance experience are advantageous.
