Description
The Supplier Development Manager will monitor technology and procurement markets, develop and manage new suppliers, lead technical reviews and price negotiations, manage new-part projects through one year after SOP, handle RPP/MPP and ECR activities, maintain SAP data, evaluate RFQs, identify localization opportunities, coordinate supplier engineering work, and procure prototypes, initial samples, and first serial deliveries. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher, at least three years of purchasing experience, one year of project management experience in a mechanical or electronic industry, supplier-development expertise, familiarity with quality-management systems, and willingness to travel frequently.
