Description
The Project Superintendent plans, coordinates, and supervises field and administrative operations for construction projects, providing technical direction and overseeing safety, costs, productivity, profitability, quality, schedules, and subcontractor work. The role includes developing project plans, managing CPM schedules and lean work plans, coordinating with owners and stakeholders, preventing and resolving claims, and leading project teams and field superintendents. Project Superintendent I is intended for less complex projects of $20 million or under with 3–5 years of experience, while Project Superintendent II covers medium-scale projects of $20–$50 million with 5–10 years of experience. A four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience, plus construction project and supervision experience, are required.
