Description
The role designs transformer coils and magnetic cores, performs electrical and thermal calculations, selects materials, optimizes coil geometry, defines electrical connections, supports manufacturing and troubleshooting, and produces technical documentation. It requires a technical or engineering education, at least six months of project and drawing experience, and knowledge of transformer design, AutoCAD, metrology, and optionally programming languages.
