NATO has identified a need for a Proof of Concept (POC) environment focusing on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for internet-facing web portals across its enterprise. The task involves building and testing various MFA technologies using a single Entra ID Identity Provider, aligning with ongoing IT modernization and cloud programs. The solution must meet stringent security standards, comply with NATO directives, and integrate with existing systems like Moodle, SharePoint, Keycloak, and Cognito. A strong emphasis is placed on cybersecurity measures, logging analysis, and collaboration with internal quality assurance teams.
