Description
The Property Accountant serves as a financial liaison between Ocean State Job Lot’s tenants and its property management and accounting departments. The role maintains tenant ledgers, manages accounts receivable and collections, supports month-end close, reconciles CAM, real estate tax, and insurance expenses, processes utility billings, analyzes commercial leases, tracks tenant compliance, and resolves billing disputes. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, property accounting or commercial A/R experience, accounting software and Excel proficiency, and knowledge of general ledger and lease accounting. The position offers a hybrid arrangement with at least three days per week in the corporate office and an annual salary of $65,000 to $75,000.
