Description
The Property Accounting Manager prepares and supports accurate, timely financial reporting for a large portfolio of condominium and cooperative properties. The role covers monthly financial statements, GAAP and local accounting compliance, reserve and operating account reconciliations, annual budgets, multi-year financial and capital planning, audit schedules, tax filing support, regulatory filings, financial analysis, board presentations, accounting-system support, and onboarding documentation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, 8–12+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, knowledge of New York City cooperative and condominium financial structures, and proficiency with property management accounting platforms.
