Chart Industries is hiring a Proposal Engineer to prepare and process technical and commercial proposals for spare parts and upgrades involving regenerative heat exchangers in the aftermarket business. The role involves assessing customer requests and tenders, evaluating supplier quotations, coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal technical departments, preparing proposal and costing documentation, following up on offers, and processing purchase orders. The position requires a relevant engineering or business engineering degree or equivalent technical training with extensive experience, several years of proposal management or technical sales experience, German and English proficiency, and willingness to travel.
