Astro Mechanica is hiring a Propulsion Engineer to own propulsion hardware design from concept through production, including trade studies, detailed design, structural, thermal, and fluid analyses, prototyping, tooling, hardware testing, data analysis, and problem diagnosis. The role requires hands-on experience with fluidic and mechanical systems, proficiency in Siemens NX, exposure to manufacturing and GD&T, and knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, turbomachinery, data acquisition, instrumentation, and power electronics.
