Rocket Lab is hiring a Propulsion Intern to support the development and operation of the Archimedes engine for the Neutron launch vehicle at its Long Beach, California site. The intern will work with mentors and cross-functional teams on engine architecture, performance, subsystem details, and development projects, while receiving regular feedback and professional development opportunities. The role requires enrollment in an aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical, or mechanical engineering program with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and at least three months of applied engineering experience. It is a full-time, on-site position beginning January, February, or March 2027, with $28 per hour in California and eligibility for a relocation stipend.
