The position owns spacecraft propulsion components and systems through requirements definition, design, fabrication, testing, qualification, and flight, while performing fluid and thermophysical analyses, developing test plans, supporting prototype hardware, and collaborating across engineering, production, and test teams. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (or a related field), at least three years of aerospace fluid-systems experience, and knowledge of thermodynamics, compressible flow, structural design, 3D CAD, GD&T, manufacturing, propulsion components, and plumbing/instrumentation diagrams.
