Description
The Propulsion Test Engineer will lead the planning, execution, safety, instrumentation, documentation, and continuous improvement of solid rocket motor and igniter testing. The role includes defining test procedures, leading test readiness reviews and pre-test briefings, conducting live firings, managing hazard analyses and emergency procedures, supporting instrumentation and data acquisition, investigating anomalies, and collaborating with propulsion, mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers. Candidates need a BSc. or MSc. in aerospace, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline, at least two years of propulsion or high-energy system testing experience, strong rocket propulsion knowledge, energetic-materials and test-safety expertise, and familiarity with propulsion instrumentation and data acquisition.
