Description
The employer is hiring a Protection & Control Field Services Engineer, Engineering Associate, or Technician for the Metro East Transmission Maintenance Center. The role commissions, tests, maintains, and troubleshoots protective relaying, controls, and communication equipment; responds to power interruptions and alarms; coordinates with internal and external stakeholders; and performs safe switching, isolation, and project work. It requires an engineering or applicable technical education or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, hybrid work, overnight travel, callout availability, and the ability to work in outdoor and office environments. The position is based in the Ponce and Conyers Transmission Maintenance Center and Northern Transmission Maintenance Area coverage area.
